What Would We Do Without Friends....

The first day of my blog ~ still have much to do, am trying to change my background so I'm not copying Theresa (but you know I love her stuff) and miss seeing her each month at the original Lakewood. I did manage to add some favorite tunes, hope you like them ! ~ I'm so excited ~ I have 2 new followers - two Dear Friends from our shop. Thanks girls for following my blog - you are too sweet! Keep an eye on me so I don't mess up! Both of these wonderful Ladies Lisa & Susan are far more talented that I could ever wish to be and I have learned wonderful things from them.
What a blessing friends are. I've met such Wonderful Ladies while in this blissful business and I am Grateful for all of them. You two are among the top of my list.

I'd like you to meet two other Dear dealer Friends, Fox & Whimsy - who are two more super creative dealers at our shop ~ they are lucky today, I have their cute picture. Don't have a good one of Susan and Lisa so they are safe for now.
(Now, all my pics want to go to the top of the blog - must work on placement...)
"Fox" otherwise known as Karen ~ (on the left in the picture above) is a Sweetie! She has a beautiful spirit and her smile makes me smile. She is very talented and very creative. Her booth spots are wonderful and I have had the priviledge of going on a couple road trips with Karen ~ Love watching her shop for treasures and you can count on her van coming back packed full! I hope that Karen and I grow old together in this business. When Karen came to Vintage Village she really didn't have any collections, so she was inspired and now you'll be pleased so know she has several collections. Recently, she purchased a great teal colored footed tole tray in our shop that has the original music box attached on the bottom, It plays "Happy Birthday" and with her birthday just around the corner she has is just in time. Karen has the cutest Cocker Children you would ever want to see - they are parti colored, Brother & Sister who come by the shop for visits ~ I love seeing them, they smile almost like she does. Love You, "HM" ~hope someday you will have a blog that I can visit.
"Whimsy" otherwise known as Becky~ listening carefully to Karen watering can description.
Is a longtime friend and another very whimsical dealer in our shop. Our Children went to school together so I met Becky before Vintage Village. Her booth features Shabby & Whimsical Wares alot of which she embellishes, she has beautiful handpainted windows, altered art, great shirts she decorates and much more. Becky and I share the same birthday but I'll let you ask her who's oldest. Becky has two Wonderful Daughters and 4 ~ 4 legged children as well. Her family is the greatest ~ we love getting together with them ~ I have also been with Becky on several roadtrips, she and I actually just went on a day trip a few weeks ago and had a blast. Becky is the life of our party - and host some great ones as well. Becky, you have lots to share on a blog so hope you will join in the fun. I love my friendship with Becky and you just never know what might come out of her brain. She's on a buying trip now so can't wait to see what you found!
"When one is trying to do something beyond his known powers it is useless to seek the approval of friends. Friends are at their best in moments of defeat." ~Henry Miller
"The best friend is the man who in wishing me well wishes it for my sake." ~Aristotle
"A faithful friend is a strong defense: and he that hath found such an one hath found a treasure." ~Ecc. 6:14
Ladies, I'm grateful for all of you and quite a few more that you will meet a little later. You inspire my talents ~ Your friendships are a keepsake! ~one vintage hag
