Charlotte here we come...Wedding, Peaches & Junkin

Charlotte... Here we Come~!
A weekend off ~ a wedding to attend on Saturday so Nannie & I will
be leaving early. Of course our main reason for going is to attend
Clay & Debbie's Wedding on Saturday.
Nannie was quick to tell me she plans to get peaches off I-85

As a child traveling to visit relatives in Charlotte we stopped at many I-85 stands to
take peaches to my Grandparents. Not just one stop... we always had to find the best
looking peaches so sometimes that would take several stops on the way ~ and peaches
to take home would involve those same stops headed back to Atlanta.
I promised Nannie those stops on our way home for her peaches ~ after we did some junkin.

St. Mary's Chapel is the site for the wedding on Saturday.
The Sleepy Poet is where we'll be first thing Sunday as we begin our trip home.
Can't wait to see Artsy Fartsy's spot ~! I'm ready to shop for treasures.
Then on to shop for Peaches along I-85.
Enjoy your weekend ~ I know we will~!

Wedding Week...

Lindsey & Steven
July 11, 2009

Around our home this week... it's all about wedding.
This Saturday our daughter Lindsey will marry Steven.
Excitement, nerves, final details, worries ~ why of course, I'm the Bride's Mother.

There is the most beautiful cake (not the one pictured).
There are the most wonderful food ~ Rehearsal Dinner & Reception.

There are Flowers ~ sweet smells & awesome colors (again, not the ones pictured).

There are cabins (yes, this is actually a picture of Lindsey's) where we will
rest, get ready & enjoy the company of family and friends for her big day.

There is a beautiful mountain setting ~ where she met Steven & where they will marry.

There is a breath taking place for the ceremony.
There is a hag ~ that happens to be the bride's mom ~
who is getting all those last minute
finishing touches ready.
Saturday ~ 6 days away ~ my list awaits.

Can hardly wait for pictures to share with you.
For now...
hair, nails, toes, dry cleaning, food, flowers, dresses,
tuxes, shoes, programs, cameras, friends, presents, surprises...
did I forget anything?
what are your fondest wedding day memories?
